Darrell James

Darrell James

As one of the founding Partners of James & Jordan, Darrell James has over 18 years of experience in corporate staffing, human resources, and business development. Additionally Darrell has demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing and managing strategic staffing, as well as human resources and diversity initiatives.

Previously, Darrell was the Vice President of Hudson Inclusion Solutions Recruitment Services of the Hudson Highland Group. He was responsible for the development and delivery of Training executive search, staffing, and recruitment consulting services with both internal and external clients. Darrell’s client list included multiple Fortune 500 companies such as: American Express, MTV Networks, Coke, Frito Lay, and HSBC Bank to name a few.

Additionally, Darrell has been in numerous HR leadership roles for companies such as Arizona State University, Motorola, Deloitte, the Houston Rockets and HR Functions. He is actively involved in several professional organizations, including: National Association of African Americans in Human Resource, Society of Human Resource Management, and National Black MBA.  Darrell is the founding President of the Houston Chapter of the NAAAHR. He also has his Professional Human Resources Certification.

Darrell graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University and has a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Arizona State University.

John Jordan

John Jordan

As one of the founding Partners of James & Jordan, John maintains a high profile in the management search industry with more than 20 years of management, recruiting and consulting. Previously, Mr. Jordan was the Managing Director of John Jordan and Company, Inc., which provided retained executive search services, project management, consulting and technical staffing services to companies in the semiconductor, consumer products, petrochemical, and personal computer industries. He has held Human Resource Management positions with Control Data, EDS, and Flour Daniel.

Mr. Jordan headed the staffing effort for Advanced Micro Devices "FAB 25" in Austin, Texas, which involved the recruiting of 1,000 technicians and engineers for a newly constructed facility. He was also instrumental in assisting National Semiconductor in Arlington, Texas, with an international technology staffing effort from the U.K. to Texas.

Mr. Jordan holds a Master of Science in Human Resources from Houston Baptist University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Alabama. He is a member of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources, Society of Human Resources Management, and National Black MBA Association.
